The ship is named after the medieval tidal creek Zijl, and it is a pun for the Dutch word zeilsloep. This is an easy going sailing ship, with lots of comfort for an open daysailer. It will handle shallow waters, inland lakes, river delta and near shore sea-sailing. Additionally one may add sigarette lighters for 12V devices (GPS, smart phone, GSM, PDA, ...), in the picture there are two below the seat.
